How COVID-19 is impacting 2021 weddings and beyond...

Updated: Apr 6, 2020

Let me first start by assuring all of our 2020, 2021, and 2022 brides who have already secured their dates with us that your date is safe and will not be affected by any postponed weddings and their rescheduled wedding dates. Second, to all of our 34+ brides who have had to postpone, we love you, we have your back, and our hearts are with you all the way! Lastly, I would like to say that this abrupt halt was a shock for all wedding industry professionals and venues, as within a matter of days our businesses were down, and employees cut. Without wedding venues, there are no weddings, which means there are no couples for us to provide services to and teams are out of work until the venues open back up again. We will stand strong though and when they reopen we will be there shining bright as ever!

Another unexpected impact? COVID-19 is going to greatly affect 2021 weddings because hundreds of brides and grooms across Long Island (and the country) have been forced to postpone their wedding dates and many are choosing to reschedule their date for 2021. What does this mean for 2021 couples? This will highly limit the dates that are available at venues, and this will also limit the vendors that are available to provide services for your wedding (photographers, floral designers, limos, beauty services, etc...). This has had the farthest reaching ripple effect that I personally have ever witnessed in our 16 years in the wedding industry and it is scary how everything changed on a dime.

What are we doing to help our future brides? Right now, with all of this going on trials have also come to a halt indefinitely, and understandably so. In light of everything what we are currently doing for our future brides (and this goes for anyone who has not yet secured makeup/hair for 2020 too) is the option to pre-book their wedding date prior to doing a trial, or without a trial. We will still go into a full contract agreement so that you are confident that your date is 100% locked in, yet we will give you an option and peace of mind that you can withdraw if for some reason you were not satisfied with your trial set for a later date post-contract. We know that trials are important, but may not be a possibility for you at this time. If you have read about our team, and I, and our talents, you will get to know we are known for our "calming presence" and for doing everything we can to make sure our brides have the best experience possible.

For anyone who would like to learn more about this option please fill out the contact form on our website and let us know that you'd like to learn more and we can setup a call to go over how the process would work.
